Thanks to philanthropic investors, we have secured scholarships to cover the costs for nonprofits to participate. If satisfied with the service, we may ask you to send a note to the donors and let them know!
What kinds of positions may I post on OnBoard?
You may post any volunteer role that has a leadership responsibility. Typically that is a board position, committee membership, or event coordinator role.
How does OnBoard promote my position?
Your position will have visibility on our Volunteer Roles directory, and it will appear in emails that we send out to our volunteer network. Your role may show up as a Recommended Role for volunteers whose interest and skills match your organization’s mission and volunteer needs.
Additionally, we have an active marketing plan to advertise OnBoard opportunities externally. Leveraging corporate, chamber and civic organization partnerships is key to our outreach efforts.
Can non-OnBoard members see my position listing?
Yes, may market your position outside of the platform for increased visibility. For example, we will highlight board positions in our marketing efforts on platforms like LinkedIn to drive applications.
